Custom keymapping with VIA is a breeze. Keys are responsive and quiet, with a pleasingly subtle thock and zero rattle, clack, or ping. Gateron Brown (tactile) switches were the only option at purchase but they're fantastic. It weighs a ton, everything is machined to precision, and it feels indestructible.
Build quality is buy-it-for-life level. Seriously the prettiest keyboard I've ever owned and it makes me smile every time I look at it. I got the blue edition and it's absolutely STUNNING. Tech writer and dedicated Microsoft Ergo 4000 (mechanical-ish dome switch) user for almost 15 years, and after my last one died I switched to a Logitech K860 (laptop-style chiclet keys) which is great for typing but suuucks for gaming.Īfter hunting high and low for a keyboard that ticked all my rather specific boxes without breaking the bank, I took a compromise and rolled the dice on this flat split tenkeyless option, hoping that it'll be enough to keep the RSI at bay.
